RoomBoss chooses PCI Proxy for simplified PCI compliance

About RoomBoss

RoomBoss develops and provides SaaS for tourism businesses ranging from hotels to ski resorts to transportation companies. They provide end-to-end solutions for distribution, operations, accounting and reporting with integrated systems for hotel and property management, snow school management, e-commerce, and trust accounting.

PCI compliance is a prerequisite for broadening connectivity options for their clients, such as direct connection with OTAs for hoteliers.

The challenge

Complying with PCI DSS involves adhering to a dozen key requirements, several dozen base requirements and hundreds of test procedures. Maintaining RoomBoss' existing PCI compliance procedure was causing delays to their workflows and costing valuable resources. RoomBoss was looking for a solution which would enable them to easily comply with PCI DSS while continuing to build out their connections with OTAs and other third-parties. They wanted a system which would mirror their agile and rapid roll-out strategy and allow them to continue to deliver additional value to their clients in a timely manner.

We sought a way to achieve PCI compliance without needing to sacrifice time and resources toward 'reinventing the wheel'.

The solution

RoomBoss chose PCI Proxy to solve their compliance requirements, simply integrating and testing our platform direct from the self-serve function on the website. Following a brief call with the sales and tech team to ensure setup was correct, RoomBoss was able to go-live and has been enjoying simplified PCI compliance and improved control over payment flows ever since.

PCI Proxy provided exactly what we needed; tokenization APIs, token vault, and mechanisms for distribution to payment gateways. The PCI Proxy team has been immensely helpful from the adoption stage onward. Furthermore their platform features high availability. We're happy to have adopted PCI Proxy's solution, the benefits justify the cost of service.
